Challenge

The AMAG Group, one of Switzerland’s leading car retail companies, enjoys an outstanding reputation for excellent customer service and high-quality vehicles. As a diverse group representing a wide range of automotive brands, AMAG has established itself as a market leader. However, the Body & Paint department faced several challenges:

  • There were recurring delays in meeting promised completion dates.

  • The cause was identified as incorrect prioritization of the painting sequence.

  • This led to inefficient workflows in paint preparation.

Solution: Dynamic Scheduling

By introducing the AI-driven planning solution aspaara®, the workshop achieved systematically better job prioritization. This allows the Body & Paint division to dynamically adapt its processes to the workshop’s current needs, improve the sequencing of jobs, and thus meet more completion dates on time. at each Body & Paint location, aspaara® was implemented within 8 weeks, and today it boosts the overall efficiency of the entire group.

  • Jobs are now dynamically prioritized by AI, taking into account the required effort, target completion date, and employee qualifications.
